Client Management - Search: Portfolio Holdings/ Positions
Searching for Portfolio Holdings/Position Overview
The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions on using the Portfolio Position Search function in XPLAN.
The Portfolio Positions function allows you to search for portfolio positions across all clients with a wide selection of options.
Portfolio Position Search
There are three panels on the Portfolio Positions page:
- The Options panel displays all of the searching options.
- The Summary panel displays a summary of each portfolio in your search results.
- The Details panel displays position details about each holding in your search results.
From the Title Bar at the top of the screen:
- Click XPLAN > Portfolio Functions > Portfolio Positions.
- The Portfolio Positions page displays.
- The following options are available:

Saved Search - use the criteria of an applicable previously saved Advanced Search. To save criteria searches as Saved Search Criteria

Portfolio Group/Custodial Entity - choose to display only the positions of a selected portfolio group or custodial entity

Portfolio - choose to only display the positions of the selected portfolio

Account Mandate - choose to only display positions from portfolio accounts with the selected mandate

Details Grouping - choose how to group the displayed results
-
Security - choose to display either all or just current securities
- Pricing
- Currency
-
Security - choose to only display portfolios containing the selected security
- Settled
- Proposed
-
FUM Only - choose to only display funds under management
- Date
- Click Search.
