XPLAN Version Enhancements - 18 November 2021 (Version 21.11.195)
Client Focus
Digital Signature Notification will Honour the "Override from Address" when sent by Super User
The notify signatories template configured in system settings > client focus > document note will now honour the override from address field in the email template when sending of the email is triggered by super user. As the super user profile has no email address, previously, only the from address field in the email template could be used as the sender.
This enhancement is relevant for the new advice fee consent fully automated process when notifying clients that they have actions pending in Client Portal, but will also apply to other scenarios where the email is sent by super user. The email sending will still appear in the audit trail as being actioned by super user.
Next Consent Date Moved Forward 12 Months When Using Digital Signature
When a fee consent form is linked to a fee consent account in the opt-in & fee consent element, when all required signatories digitally sign the document, the account’s next consent date will be moved forward 12 months from the date in the next consent date field.
When the document is only partially signed by the required signatories, when the document becomes void, or when a signatory declines to sign, the next consent date will not be updated.
The updating of the next consent date field will occur whether you are using the fully automated process or are activating Digital Signature via another method.
Preventing Multiple Updates of Fee Start and End Dates in Fully Automated Advice Fee Consent Process
Prior to new consent forms being generated as part of the fully automated process, the fee start date and fee end date fields are moved forward by 12 months to ensure that the dates reflect the upcoming period instead of last years’ period.
An enhancement has been implemented to ensure that should the process fail on the first attempt, the fee start date and fee end date will not be moved forward again by another 12 months on succeeding attempts to ensure they remain reflective of the upcoming period.
Portfolio
Portfolio Accounts Now Have an "Inactive Date"
Basic fee handling for inactive dates on portfolio accounts is available along with this feature. However, it currently applies only when the linked account has a single portfolio account selected.
Further enhancement will follow to add handling for scenarios where multiple/all accounts are selected.
Enhanced Chart Syntax
Xmerge syntaxes now provide flexibility to customize Donut, Bar, Line, Pie and Boxline charts with the following options
- Legend Layout : Vertical and Horizontal
- Legend Location : Bottom, Top, Right and Left
Risk Researcher
Set Default Text for Every Applicable Response
To further assist with TMD Declaration requirements, the ability to set default text for every applicable response is now available for Risk Researcher.
Default text can be applied site-wide or to specific groups as needed.
These details are accessible within System Settings and can be set by the site Administrator only.
Added Provision To Flag Dealings
Following industry feedback and our ongoing review of DDO regulations, Risk Researcher has added the provision to flag dealings as 'Not Applicable'.
The 'Not Applicable' response is designed to reflect that dealings with closed products are excluded from TMD requirements.
WealthSolver
Default Text in TMD Declaration Form Screen
To further assist with DDO requirements, Wealthsolver has included the default text available in Text Snippets in the declaration screen. A drop-down box to select default text is now available in order to select the appropriate text where needed.
Default Text in TMDs in System Settings
We have added default text for TMDs in System Setting>WealthSolver>Text Snippets
The following drop-down options have been included:
- Scenario Modelling - TMD - Why is this a Significant Dealing?
- Scenario Modelling - TMD - Why dealing has proceeded?
- Scenario Modelling - TMD - How is the TMD requirement not met?
The current default text will default as shown in both label and Text. The default text is available on a global level and includes:
Why has the dealing proceeded?
Investment product in diversified portfolio
Distributor assesses product as suitable for customer's objectives, financial situation and needs, despite TMD
Customer was assessed to be outside Target Market after dealing occurred
Distributor considers risk of customer harm to be low
Why is this a significant dealing?
Product use is Solution / Standalone
Product use is Core component and the consumer's risk and return profile is Low
How is TMD requirement not met?
"How is TMD requirement not met?" do not currently have any default text. We do want to include it as an option. So it will need changes in the TMD declaration form screen.
CommPay
CommPay Capability Now Available both at Access Level and Individual User Level
Currently where a single Xplan site with multiple CommPay sites exists, the global setting can be changed by any user who has CommPay Back Office capabilities (Admin or Basic).
This issue also extends to a single CommPay site where a licensee may have more than one administrator, however they may only want one of the administrators to have control of Global Settings.
This item has decoupled the Global Settings option in CommPay from the Back Office Admin or Basic capabilities, meaning a new CommPay capability called 'CommPay - Access to Global Settings' is now available both at the Access Level and individual user level, responsible for controlling this section.
Xplan version required: 21.11.194

the go to a page option on a task outcome and selecting
the opportunities page, you were not directed to the opportunities page
on task completion. This has been resolved |
When a policy was created
in Xplan via a client import or an API call, the client entity id was not
included in the CommPay setup package file download. This has now been fixed. |
