Risk Profiler Wizard Overview

The purpose of this guide is to provide a step by step outline for entering information into the Risk Profile Wizard. 

How to access the Risk Profiler Wizard

  • Within the Client Menu, go to Wealth Axis FP Tools

  • Navigate to E2E Wizard > 02 Risk Profiler


  1. Use the 02 Risk Profiler Navigation Menu on the left to navigate after selecting the relevant Wizard Scenario as instructed below.


NOTE: This wizard is a scenario based wizard. For further information on how to use and generate wizards including creating and modifying scenarios please click here.

Introduction

The Introduction section of this wizard allows the user to set some key parameters of the Risk Profile document to merge.

Merge output settings 

  • Which client(s): In the drop down menu, select the client or clients for whom the Risk Profile is to be completed.
    • Client: select this option if you are doing the Risk Profile only for the primary client.

    • Partner: select this option if you are doing the Risk Profile only for the partner

    • Client & Partner: select this option if you are doing the Risk Profile for both the primary client and the partner


  • Date of Client Fact Find: enter the date that the client(s) signed the Fact Find.
  • Date of Client Risk Profile:

    • If the Risk Profile questionnaire is part of the Fact Find enter the same date that was entered for the Fact Find.

    • If the Risk Profile questionnaire is separate to the Fact Find enter the date that the client(s) signed the Risk Profile questionnaire. However, if the Risk Profile questionnaire has not been signed by the clients, then use the date that the Risk Profile questionnaire was completed (which may be different to the signed date). This can usually be found on the cover or at the back of the Risk Profile questionnaire. 

  1. include Cover Page: select this option if you wish to include a cover page for the  Risk Profile. 
  2. include Cover Letter: select this option if you wish to include a cover letter for the  Risk Profile.
    1. Customised Cover Letter:  select this option if you wish to customise the cover letter. 


Click on Next to continue.

Letter Editor

The Letter Editor allows users to customise a cover letter to be provided in conjunction with a "Reverse" Fact Find. 
  1. Letter to be dated by using
    1. Select Use Merge Date to utilise the date the document is generated. 


    1. Select Use Custom Date to allow a user defined date to be entered.

  1. Add a subject in the RE: field and then type in the required content in the Content field. 
  1. Letter Closings:  Select the appropriate way in which you wish to close the letter. 


  1. Once all relevant details have been completed you can select Next to continue to the next page within the  wizard.

Risk Tolerance

This section allows the adviser to record answers to the following 7 questions which help determine the clients appropriate Risk Profile. 
  1. Answer: Answer each question from the appropriate option in each drop down menu. 
  1. Notes: If required there is space for additional information to be recorded. 



  1. Click Next to continue.

Financial Goals

A further 3 questions are required to be answered on this page. 
  1. Answer: Answer each question from the appropriate option in each drop down menu. 
  1. Notes: If required there is space for additional information to be recorded. 


  1. Click Next to continue.

Time Horizon

The final 2 questions to answer.
  1. Answer: Answer each question from the appropriate option in each drop down menu. 
  1. Notes: If required there is space for additional information to be recorded. 


  1. Click Next to continue.

Preferred Risk Profile Validation

Finally, there are 3 scenarios which the client/partner need to review and answer accordingly. 



  1. Click Next to continue.

Acknowledgment

This section allows the adviser or user to record if the client agrees with the risk profile assigned or if there is an alteration. 


  1. If a client agrees with the Risk Profile assigned select Agree
  1. If relevant the adviser can confirm if gearing was discussed. 


  1. If the client (or adviser) disagrees with the Risk Profile assigned select Disagree
  1. Place a tick in the Alter Risk Profile and fill out the following text fields appropriately. 
    1. Altered risk profile
    2. Rationale behind the alteration
    3. Consequences of alteration



  1. Click Next to continue.
The Risk Profile is now ready to merge. 

  1. Click on Merge Risk Profiler and OK.
