Wealth Axis Wizards - Letter Wizard

Overview

The Letter Wizard in XPlan allows users to generate a personalised client letter from a suite of available templates, quickly and easily and with minimal editing required once merged.

The list below contains just some of the letter templates currently available. These letters have been designed to be generated per client, via the Letter Wizard in XPlan.

1. Confirmation of Appointment Letter

2. Confirmation of Re-Scheduled Appointment Letter

3. Implementation Confirmation Letter

4. Information Authority Letter

5. Post First Appointment Letter

6. Referral Letter

7. Review Meeting Letter

8. SoA Presentation Confirmation Letter

9. Custom 

How to access the Letter Wizard 

  • Within the Client Menu, go to Wealth Axis FP Tools

  • Navigate to E2E Wizard > 15 Letter Wizard



  1. Use the 15 Letter Wizard Navigation Menu on the left to navigate after selecting the relevant Wizard Scenario as instructed below.

NOTE: This wizard is a scenario based wizard. For further information on how to use and generate wizards including creating and modifying scenarios please click here.

Letter Editor

The Letter Editor section of this wizard helps determine the letter type and components to include. 



Review and update the following sections as required;
  1. Area of Advice: Select from the list the appropriate Area of Advice letter type to be sent. 
  1. Select Letter: Based on the Area of Advice selected a subset of Select Letters will now be made available to choose from. 
  1. Letter to be dated by using: Choose from the Use Merge Date or a Custom Date as required. 
  1. RE: Review and modify this field as required. 
  1. Content: Default text has been included based on selections previously made. Review and modify as required. 


Additional Info

Review and update the following sections as required;
  1. Letter closing: Select from the list the appropriate way to close the letter.
  2. Print on Letterhead: Select as required. 


Click on Next to continue.

Third Party Info

If any Third Party Details are to be included in the letter select Add.



  1. Click on Next to continue.

Sender & Recipient

This page of the wizard allows users to select who the recipient of the letter is. 
  1. Letter recipient is: Letters are typically addressed to the Client but can also be addressed to the Adviser as well as Other
  1. If Client is selected then users have the ability to determine which entities are included in the letter. 



  1. If Adviser is selected.

  1. If Other is selected then users have the ability to enter details manually accordingly.


The same options are available for Sender (as recipient)


  1. Select the appropriate option and then click on Next.
The Letter Wizard has now been completed. Users are able to click on Merge Letter or View/Edit Entity Details or Restart Wizard;
  1. Click on Merge Letter


  1. Click on Execute.


  1. Click on OK.


The letter is now available to view (and edit as required).
