Wealth Axis Wizards - MDA: MDA Contract Tracking Report

MDA Contract Tracking Report Overview

Due to an update to RG179 your Limited Power of Attorney (LPoA) clients must be transitioned to the new MDA Contract. The MDA Contract Tracking Report will assist you with managing your clients’ new MDA Contracts with the following information displayed:

  • Client information (name, entity ID and adviser)

  • MDA Account information (account type, name and value, and if it is a joint account)

  • If the MDA Contract Wizard has been completed for the client (Yes/No)

  • If the client has signed their new MDA Contract (Yes/No), and the date they returned it to you

 

How to merge the MDA Contract Tracking Report

To merge (or generate) the MDA Contract Tracking Report:

  1. Click List and then Entire List in the search area of the Title Bar (at the top right and corner of the screen):

    • Alternatively, to generate a list of targeted clients click Advanced in the search area of the Title Bar (at the top right-hand corner of the screen), and select the required Saved Search or create a new Advanced Search.



  2. The client list to be reported on will be displayed in the Search Result panel.

  3. Select the clients to be included the MDA Contract Tracking Report, if required.

    • If no clients are selected (ticked), all clients with MDA Assets will be displayed in the Report

    • If some clients are selected, only those selected (ticked) with MDA Assets will be displayed in the Report

  4. From the menu on the left-hand side, go to Reports > Merge Report.

  5. From the Report Category dropdown list, select BTGL - MDA Reports:



  6. Select MDA Contract Tracking by clicking on the arrow icon:



  7. Click Execute.

  8. The MDA Contract Tracking Report will be merged in the background. Click Ok.

  9. When the MDA Contract Tracking Report has been merged, click the letter icon to display the new system message.

  10. Click Download Report to download the file (it will be an Excel spreadsheet).

 

Troubleshooting tips

Why is my client’s MDA Account not displayed in the Report?

Your client’s MDA Account will be only displayed in the Report if all three of the following conditions are met:

  1. MDA Established = Yes (at Advice Process > MDA > MDA Register):



  2. The MDA Account (in Financial Details) is linked to the corresponding account in Portfolios (IPS) (at Portfolios > Portfolio > Position).

  3. For Assets (Investments) accounts, Status = Existing:



    For Superannuation and Retirement Income accounts, Status = Active:

 

Why can’t I see the MDA menu in my login?

The MDA menu (at Advice Process > MDA) is only displayed in XPLAN for advisers authorised by their Licensee to provide MDA Services. If you require access to this menu, please contact your Wealth Axis Adviser
