Client Management - Adding Clients: Client

Adding a Client in XPLAN Overview 

The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions on adding a client (Individual) to XPLAN.

How to Add a Client

  • From the Title Bar at the top of the screen, click Add > Add Client.

  • Once you have selected Add Client, you will be taken to the Client Type page.

    At this stage, you have to decide what type of the client that you are adding is. Each type would bring you to a different section. E.g. Selecting Individual will ask for the clients First and Surname while Company requires a Company Name.

  • Select Individual and click Next.


  • You will be taken to the Basic Information

    Complete the client details. Ensure that you select a Category as well as the correct adviser. 

    Note: To add a partner at this stage, click the Has partner information checkbox. This will open the partner details on the screen.

    Click Next.

     
  • You will be taken to the Contact Details

    Complete the contact details, then click Next.



  • You will be taken to the Create Client page. Your new client has been created! From here you can click the View/Edit Client Information button or you can continue within the wizard and client Next.

     
  • If you select View/Edit Client Information;
    • You will be taken to the Client Dashboard page within the client file. 
  • If you select Next;
    • The remaining pages in the wizard will allow you to add the new client to other Groups, Tasks/Threads and Diary entries; NOTE: it is recommended that you click on View/Edit Client Information first to enter into the client profile to complete the data entry of the client’s information.
