Compliance - FOFA: Managing your FOFA Clients - Dashboard Widgets

Dashboard Widgets Overview

The FOFA Dashboard will assist you in monitoring your clients’ service arrangements and upcoming or overdue Fee Disclosure Statement (FDSs) and Opt-in renewals

The dashboard’s widgets provide you with a real-time snapshot of the clients and their related entities1 falling into each FDS and Opt-in status:

  • Overdue Fee Disclosure: The client’s FDS has not yet been delivered. Based on Wealth Axis’s best practice policy guidelines, you have 30 days from the client’s Next Disclosure Statement Date to deliver their FDS.

  • Upcoming Fee Disclosure: Clients with an FDS due within the next 30 days2 (including today’s date). This helps you manage your upcoming workload and ensure that all services delivered to the client have been captured in XPLAN.

  • Opt-in Anniversaries
    • Previous Opt-in Anniversaries: This widget is currently not working as expected, and will be fixed by IRESS in an upcoming XPLAN upgrade.

    • Upcoming Opt-in Anniversaries: Clients due for Opt-in renewal within the next 30 days 2 (including today’s date). This helps you manage your upcoming workload.

      • The client and their related entities will be displayed in the widget, regardless of whether the related entity’s FOFA data has been linked to the client (‘master entity’) or recorded at an individual level.

      • The default setting is 30 days, however this can be customised as required by your Practice.

How do I set up the FOFA Dashboard

To set up the FOFA dashboard:
  1. On the User Dashboard, click on the Main tab (at the top left-hand side of the screen).
  2. The dropdown arrow will be displayed in the Main tab label:

  3. Click on the dropdown arrow and select Load System Default:

  4. The FOFA, Portfolio and Insurance tabs will be displayed:

How do I change the Default Settings for the Widgets

To change the default settings for the widgets in the FOFA Dashboard:
  1. On the User Dashboard, click on the FOFA tab (at the top left-hand side of the screen).

  2. The FDS and Opt-in widgets will be displayed
    1. Overdue Fee Disclosure
    2. Upcoming Fee Disclosure
    3. Previous Opt-in Anniversaries
    4. Upcoming Opt-in Anniversaries

  3. To edit a widget, click on the widget’s Settings icon and select Edit Setting:

  4. Make your changes as required (e.g. change the Time Frame to 60 days).

  5. Click OK. The widget will refresh and an updated list of clients will be displayed.
