Wealth Axis Wizards - ROA: Scenarios - Withdrawal ROA

Withdrawal ROA Overview

The purpose of this RoA Withdrawal guide is to help in the generation of a Record of Advice (RoA) in the New Advice Framework, utilising best practice principles. The guide is aimed at ensuring the document provided is compliant and produced in the most efficient means possible.

Modelling the Withdrawal in Portfolio's

Access Portfolio's

Select Client Menu > Portfolios > Portfolio > Position.

Review Current Position

Ensure the client’s current position is accurate in XPLAN, in the Holdings Overview.

Model the Withdrawal in IPS

Select Client Menu > Portfolios > Model > Recommend.

Create the transaction details of the proposed switch from the Recommend page, firstly by noting the amount to be sold down on the selected funds.

Apply Disclosure Fee Sets

Apply a Fee Disclosure Set to all recommended portfolios, if this has previously not been completed.

Select Client Menu > Portfolios > Model > Recommend.

Then access the Disclosure Fees Manager via selecting the Action Button > Fees

On the Proposed Disclosure Fees page, select the appropriate accounts, and the appropriate fee set to apply.

You have the ability to create your own Fee Disclosure Sets to apply if your recommended product is not in the Disclosure Fee List. For information as to how to do so, please read the Disclosure Fee Set Guide.

If you do not want to create your own Fee Disclosure Set for a product not in the list, use the Generic – Official Licensee Set Option. You will then need to make post merge edits to your document to ensure all fee information is correct.
