Key Relationships - Group Insurance Plan
Group Insurance Plan Overview
The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions on managing Group Insurance Plans in XPLAN.
How to access the Group Plan List
Groups Plans allow for the policies of individual entities to be associated within a single Business group scheme.
From the Title Bar at the top of the screen:
- Click XPLAN > Administration Functions > Key Relationships.
- In the left hand navigation menu, select Group Plan > Result.
- A list of all group plans displays.
- Click on the name of the Group Plan to access it:
How to Create a Group Plan
From the Group Plan list:
- Click Add.
- The New Group Plan page displays.
- Enter the details of the Group Plan:

- Click Save.
- Once the Group Plan has saved, Select Admin > Company from the left navigation menu. This will allow you to link a Company in XPLAN to the Group Plan:
How to Add a Group Plan to a Client
When adding an insurance policy to a client:
- Enter the details of the insurance policy as normal.
- Click the Ownership tab.
- Select the Group Plan from the dropdown list:

Save as per usual.
