XPLAN Implementation Guide - Overview and Navigation

XPLAN Implementation Guide Overview and Navigation

The purpose of this guide is to give the XPLAN Champion and the XPLAN Transition Consultant the information required to work together and ensure your practice is set up appropriately within XPLAN.

Your Transition Consultant will book time with you over the phone to walk through the guide. They will explain the content of the guide but it will be your responsibility to complete the set up tasks in your own time. Your Transition Consultant will help you troubleshoot as needed.

Once you and your Transition Consultant have walked through this guide and completed any set-up tasks, your practice will be ready to complete transition and hand over to the Advice Platform Support team.

Customising Views and Lists

This guides the user on configuring and customising XPLAN to suit the needs of the user.

Email Signature

XPLAN allows you to create your own email signatures that can be appended to emails that you send from XPLAN. The following guide shows you how you can create your own email signature via the Preferences > Email > Signature options menu and also how you can insert your own logos into your emails.

Diary Setup

The purpose of this lesson is to provide instructions on utilising the diary sync functionality and how to access and setup diary templates

IMAP

The purpose of this lesson is to provide instructions on how to access and set up IMAP and Outlook Integration for yourself.

SMS

The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions on how to use SMS Emails in XPLAN. XPLAN has the ability to send SMS emails, in conjunction with third party SMS gateways, to one or more clients simultaneously.

Preferences and Customisation

The purpose of this guide is to provide instructions on how to access and setup User Preferences, Editing a User, Editing a User's Password, and Accessing and Setting Task Preferences.

SOA Managed Content

The purpose of this lesson is to show you the steps to set up your own Managed Field Content that can be used when SOA documents are being created.

Managed Content will help you to personalise your letters, Statements of Advice and Review documents for your clients.

Datafeed

Datafeeds represent an efficient way to import portfolio transactions from a third-party. Incoming data is processed and matched against clients, automatically updating their current portfolio holdings.

The “Required XPLAN Access Level” field is a mandatory field which allows you to specify the appropriate XPLAN access levels to be assigned to users in your practice.
