Adding Advisers Overview
- From the Add menu, select Add User
- Enter the Adviser's Full Name, Click Next
- Enter their phone number and email
- Set their access level to Inactive
If Client is hosted solution - Need to set up a billing department for them.
Don't need to select any License as yet.

- Enter in some log-in details (Login may not be granted to this user but please provide a due care in creating them)
User ID :- Use initial on first name and last name (example: Lawrence SHAMRAKOV, enter as Lshamrakov)
Password: use Passw0rded01 for the time being
Untick "Enable This Account"
Set 'No' to Create new group for this user

- Click the Edit button and begin filling in the adviser's details




Note : Status is important here, If the adviser is not
Please check yes if the adviser is a registered Tax(Financial) Adviser.
Please check yes if the adviser is an owner of the business.

- Click Save.
- Once created, don't forget to link it to the respective User Group


- Liaise with Adviser with regards to be required Licenses and Capabilities.
- Once you know what licenses are required, email licensing@iress.com.au and ask them to add the required licenses to the particularuser ID and the group they're under.
- When iress have confirmed the licenses have been added, go into the user record and apply the capabilities: Navigate to key Details - Capabilities
- Tick all the capabilities the user requires.
- Alternatively, if one of the access levels is applicable you can use this. Under Key Details - Main - Click Edit.
- Scroll down till you find the 'access levels' drop down. Chosse the applicable access level. Click Save!
Important!
- Ensure that all users have the following capabilities otherwise they will not be able to merge a report. This is an interim solution.

- Ensure that No adviser gets the capability Enable System Settings.
