Team of Adviser Overview

The Allocated Advice Team panel (at Key Details > Advice Services) details the various advisers and roles allocated to the client. When setting up a new client, all roles will be allocated by default to the selected Client Adviser :



To save time in editing the Allocated Advice Team, you can pre-set  (or AutoSet ) one or more of the Allocated Advice Team roles allocated to a new client based on the Client Adviser selected. For example, when Adviser_02 is selected as the Client Adviser for a new client, Adviser_11 is automatically allocated to the role of Secondary Adviser:



Notes

  • You must have a Standard User Plus login to be able to pre-set the Allocated Advice Team for an Adviser in your Practice (based on the Adviser’s XPLAN User ID, or login). To arrange access, please contact your Technology Implementation Manager.
  • If you are an Adviser with a Standard User Plus login, you will not be able to pre-set the Allocated Advice Team for your own XPLAN User ID (or login). For security purposes, XPLAN prevents users from editing some settings for their own user account.

 

How to pre-set Allocated Advice Teams

  1. To pre-set the Allocated Advice Team for an Adviser in your Practice:



  2. Go to  XPLAN > User Functions > Administer Users:



  3. Select the Adviser’s name from the search results (by clicking on the hyperlink):



  4. In the User Menu, go to Key Details > AutoSet for client:



  5. A list of any existing pre-sets will be displayed in the AutoSet panel. Click Add:

  6. In the Auto Set Field page:

    • From the Field dropdown list, select the required Advice Team role.

    • In the Value field, search for the Adviser or user to be pre-set for the selected



  7. Advice Team role.

  8. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to pre-set other Advice Team roles, as required.

  9. Click Save.
